If an academic staff member, School or Faculty have available funds and wish to set up a scholarship for a postgraduate research student, or a number of postgraduate research students, they will need to download and complete the Scholarship Proposal Form from the Scholarship Proposal Kit on this page.

The Scholarship Proposal Kit includes:

Scholarship Proposal Form- to be completed by the Faculty/School/Centre
University Postgraduate Research Scholarship Model Conditions
Particulars of Scholarship Form- to be completed by the scholarship proposer, the Faculty Dean (or Dean's nominee) and Financial Services officer
Commencement of Study Form- to be completed by the supervisor and student awarded the scholarship

Before downloading and completing, please note some important points:

It is important that the name of the proposed scholarship accurately reflects the funding source.
The scholarship proposal cannot be processed until the Scholarship Proposer’s Declaration, Client Services Declaration and the Faculty Dean’s Declaration sections are complete and signatures are provided.
