Postgraduate Coordinator's Handbook

The Postgraduate Coordinator serves a critical role in the overall experience of higher degree research students. As the central point of contact for research students, this position is recognised by the University as a significant administrative position that has a high associated workload, particularly in large Schools where research student numbers are the range 50-130.

The new 2007 Postgraduate Coordinators Handbook has been produced to assist Postgraduate Coordinators fulfil this important role and includes information based on the many questions and requests for assistance that the Graduate Research School receives regarding higher degree research candidatures from academic staff across the University. The publication will also be of assistance to Research Administrators in your Schools.

Hard copies are available from the Graduate Research School. Please contact Iona Reid if you would like a copy. An electronic copy (>2Mb) can be downloaded here (Please note: you will need your unipass to download the pdf file from the staff only section of our website).
