Can research students get travel concessions?

Eligible students will be issued with a transport logo on their student ID card that allows concession travel on all CityRail, State Transport Authority, NSW Country Link services (including services to Melbourne and Brisbane) and private bus services with the Sydney Metropolitan area.

Part-time and international (full-fee) students are not entitled to transport concession under NSW Government legislation.

Please note: International Research Students who are in receipt of an Australian Government Scholarship, i.e. EIPRS & AUSAID, are also entitled to NSW public transport concession.

Where can I park at the Kensington Campus?

Any Faculty, staff member, student or other person with University business who wishes to park a motor vehicle on the University's campuses must purchase a UNSW parking permit, day scratchie permit or pay at metered parking. For full details on parking please refer to the Parking Services webpage.
