The Graduate Research School and my office are available to provide advice and assistance to all higher degree research students at UNSW. UNSW has a vibrant and interactive research community including around 2,800 currently enrolled PhD students. As a postgraduate research student you will be an integral part of the highly active research culture which underpins the international research reputation of this University.

UNSW and the Graduate Research School are committed to providing you with the resources and environment that will allow you to perform to your full potential in your chosen field. The School is available to provide information on everything from applying for scholarships, to thesis submission assistance, current policy, requirements for study, events and news updates, social activities and career opportunities. The Graduate Research School is your School, and I invite all higher degree students to visit us, browse the resource centre, come along to our targeted events, and let us know if there is anything you need assistance with during the course of your candidature.
